The entirety of the Online Terms & Conditions is constituted by the Terms of Use and the Terms & Conditions.

By using the FLIP HOME website you agree to the Online Terms & Conditions. FLIP HOME reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of the Online Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice, and your access to this website may be terminated at any time without prior notice. By using the FLIP HOME website after we publish any changes to the Online Terms & Conditions, you agree to accept those changes whether or not you have reviewed them. Where your access to this website is terminated, all disclaimers and limitations of liability set out in the Online Terms & Conditions will survive.

“FLIP HOME” trades under company The SOUNDS LIKE HOME (WARES) Pty. Ltd.

“Customer” refers to the original purchaser.

“Reasonable Access” refers to access to a Customer’s property that is possible through regular entranceways and passageways of a property without the assistance of more than two delivery staff.

“Online Terms & Conditions” refers to these FLIP HOME Terms of Use and Terms & Conditions.


All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD). All prices (including any delivery charges) are subject to change without notice.

Any price changes on any furniture and Products that may occur between payment of the initial deposit and the final payment do not affect the original price of the order.


FLIP HOME’s Warranty applies to all FLIP HOME purchases.

This Australian Consumer Law Guarantee only applies to you if you are deemed a “consumer” under the Australian Consumer Law (being a schedule to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) and therefore it may not apply in your particular case.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. All FLIP HOME products have 12 months manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase excluding any seconds, samples or floor stock pices. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

As many of the materials used by FLIP HOME are natural, including but not limited to fabric, timber, rattan and leather, variations on individual items of products will occur and FLIP HOME does not provide any guarantee to exactly replicate the features as presented on any showroom or electronic images.


All items are only available while stock lasts. Any representations made about stock availabilities are accurate to the last known stock level and are subject to change without notice.

FLIP HOME will attempt to withdraw any item from the FLIP HOME Website as soon as stock becomes unavailable. Receipt of your order confirmation does not require us to supply any item(s) to you if these are unavailable.

FLIP HOME products may not be held in stock and as such will be required to be ordered. You agree that any FLIP HOME furniture orders can take approximately twelve to sixteen (12-16) weeks to be delivered to you from the date that your order is placed, in line with FLIP HOME’s average lead time. Our Sales team will contact you on receipt of your order to notify you of the indicative delivery date.


All goods remain the property of FLIP HOME and title of the Goods shall not pass to the Customer until full and final payment has been received by FLIP HOME.

Goods will not be loaded for delivery nor released to the Customer in any other way until full payment has been received by FLIP HOME.


FLIP HOME has made every effort to display - as accurately as possible - the colours of items available on the FLIP HOME website and in the FLIP HOME Website. However, the actual colours you see will depend on the settings on your electronic device, and we cannot guarantee that the colour display on your electronic device accurately reflects the real colour of any items. If you have any doubts about the colour or any other features of a particular product, please contact us via sales@fliphome.com.au.


The Online Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of NSW, Australia without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to your use of the FLIP HOME Website or the Online Terms & Conditions shall be filed only in courts or tribunals located in NSW and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action.

If you access this website in a jurisdiction other than NSW, Australia, you are responsible for compliance with the laws of that jurisdiction, to the extent that they apply. FLIP HOME makes no representations that the content of this website complies with the laws of any country outside Australia.


You must be eighteen (18) years of age or over to purchase products from the website.

Any purchase made by you using this website is an acknowledgement by you that you:

  • are over the age of eighteen (18) years;
  • accept these Online Terms & Conditions;
  • agree that you have entered into a legal contract with FLIP HOME in relation to these Online Terms & Conditions; and

these “Online Terms & Conditions” together with your order, constitute the entire agreement between you and FLIP HOME for the supply of products.

FLIP HOME reserves the right to take legal action and seek compensation from the parent or guardian of a minor, who causes an order to be placed, for any loss or damage FLIP HOME may suffer as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor.


If any provision or clause of the Online Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of these Online Terms & Conditions which will continue to be in full force and effect.


FLIP HOME will not be liable for any delay in performing any of its obligations if such delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to, failure of or interruption in the provision of essential services such as electricity supply, bank payment systems or postal deliveries.


FLIP HOME’s potential to exercise or enforce any right or provision under these Online Terms & Conditions will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these terms will only be effective if it is in writing and signed by FLIP HOME.



Products offered for sale in the FLIP HOME Website can be delivered to Australia. Deliveries cannot be made to PO Boxes. Please contact FLIP HOME via email on sales@fliphome.com.au in relation to any deliveries.

Domestic delivery of FLIP HOME products is undertaken by a variety of freighters. Deliveries are available to both business and residential addresses and occur from Monday to Friday throughout the year. You will generally be required to be available in person to accept delivery of your Order.

If no-one can accept delivery when delivery is attempted, you may be liable for a re-delivery fee.

It is the responsibility of the Customer to provide reasonable access. If FLIP HOME or any other delivery company engaged by FLIP HOME considers access to be difficult, additional charges will apply.


Due to the nature of FLIP HOME products you have purchased, we will contact you as soon as possible via email in relation to the applicable delivery charges. Under no circumstances is delivery in such instances, in which you are not immediately provided with a delivery charge, free of charge.

If you live in a remote area, we may not be able to provide a door-to-door service and light aircraft or barge delivery to you may be required (for example Christmas Island or Norfolk Island in Australia). In this case, we need to charge additional delivery costs. Alternatively, we may be able to deliver your order to a local depot and you can collect the goods from there. If you think that you live in an area to which this paragraph may apply, please contact us via email on sales@fliphome.com.au.

If you require items you have ordered to be re-directed to an address which is not the original delivery address, we may charge you a reasonable fee for this re-direction.

Delivery charges will not be refunded unless we are required to do so in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Delivery charges are subject to change without notice.

You are responsible for correctly entering the requested order information, including but not limited to delivery and address details. Should you enter or provide any incorrect information, this may result in delivery delays or in you receiving and being liable for ordering unwanted items including associated delivery charges. Deliveries which are returned to us as undeliverable will incur a re-dispatch fee.


Please refer to the FLIP HOME Website for the estimated delivery times outside Sydney. These delivery times refer to working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) and may vary slightly in some instances due to weather and road conditions.

FLIP HOME and various freighters do not accept any liability for late deliveries. Delivery times are accurate at the time of publication but may change on some routes without notice.

FLIP HOME does not accept any responsibility for any delivery delays caused directly or indirectly by any of its suppliers and or any other factors that are beyond FLIP HOME’s control.

If more than one item is purchased from the FLIP HOME Website, FLIP HOME may choose to ship such items separately - if commercially viable - and as a result, such items may arrive at their destination at different times.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver one order to multiple delivery addresses; in such an instance please order items separately and assign different delivery addresses to each order. Separate delivery charges will apply.

FLIP HOME is not responsible for any damages, delayed deliveries or any other losses caused to the Customer for deliveries by any outsourced delivery company under certain circumstances, including but not limited to deliveries to remote locations.

Items that are available for online purchases are generally available in FLIP HOME’s stockists and showrooms throughout Australia unless they have sold out. Should you have any concerns in relation to the delivery of your items, please do not hesitate to contact the FLIP HOME Sales team via sales@flip home.com.au.



If you have received damaged items, we ask that you notify us via email at sales@fliphome.com.au within 48 hours of receiving your deliveries and provide us with clear information (including images) regarding the alleged problem.

Our Customer Service team will then contact you and provide you with instructions on how to return any damaged items should that be deemed to be the best solution by us. If it has been determined by FLIP HOME that a valid claim has been made and the damaged item(s) have been returned to us, we will replace the item(s) if available and deliver replacement(s) to you free of charge.

FLIP HOME reserves the right to choose to provide you with a refund for the item and/or the delivery charges once you have followed the steps outlined above. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Please note that FLIP HOME will not cover any freight or other related charges prior to us having communicated with you to ascertain the problem

  • You are not entitled to any refund or exchange just because any part of the packaging is damaged as the packaging exists to protect the items.
  • The item returned must be in ‘as-new’ condition. This means you have not used, assembled, damaged any of the items. Please return secured in their original packaging.


If you have received an incorrect item in your order (as against your proof of purchase/order confirmation), we ask that you notify us via email at cs@Flip Home.com.au within 48 hours of receiving your incorrect delivery and provide us with clear information (including images) regarding said item.

Our Sales team will then contact you and provide you with instructions on how to return the incorrect item. If it has been determined by FLIP HOME that a valid claim has been made and the incorrect item has been returned to us unused in its original packaging, we will deliver the correct item to you free of charge. In such instances, we will also cover the delivery charge for the return of the item. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.


No refunds, exchanges, and returns for change of mind reasons. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the correct item is ordered and can be delivered to its location.

Cancellation of processed order will incur a restocking fee of 20% of the order value or $50.00 whichever amount is higher.

The item returned must be in ‘as-new’ condition. This means you have not used, assembled, damaged any of the items. Please return secured in their original packaging.

Non-returnable items excluded from all change of mind returns include:

  • Products described as ‘made to order’ or ‘customised’
  • Clearance items
  • Order for commercial or non-domestic use
  • Items purchased in-store from the showroom and taken away at the time of purchase.

You will be responsible for the actual shipping costs to facilitate a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes the costs of shipping the item to you in the first place and the cost of shipping back to us.

Store credit will be valid for one (1) year from the date of issue.
